Cows... What Should We Call Them?

Wow!  The Lord is just REALLY blessing us in new add ons to our farm!

This weekend we purchased a milk cow and calf!  They should arrive on Thurs.

We are trying to figure out what to name them so we decided to ask you!

What do you think we should name them?  (The calf is a little boy and will someday be, dinner.  ;)

The Mom is a Holstein and the baby is part Angus.

Here are the first three!  And their names from left to right are Pepper, Poppy Seed, & Lemon Pepper.  (We decided to name them all spices this time. ;)

And I hear another one peeping from an egg right now so we will soon have a fourth to show you!

New Arrivals Hatching!

Hello all!  We are sorry we haven't been posting much!  We need a new camera because ours is going out!  Hopefully when we do we will do a better job of posting!

But as I speak I faintly hear a little cheap from the incubator next to me announcing that a new little life is starting to break forth!!!  :D

We have been incubating about 12 chicken eggs in hopes of enlarging our herd and the first arrival is on it's way!  A little early I might add!  So hopefully we will have some pics. of some cute little chicks in a day or two!  So stay tuned!  ;)

(James is hoping for some more Turkens!)  ;D

Don't know any details but heard that Clayton was found in the jungle and he is "ok".

Urgent Prayer Request!

Hi! We just heard of a very urgent prayer request that I hope you will keep in your prayers!

A little 10 year old boy named Clayton, son of some missionaries in Pariguay (sp?), was just kidnapped! This is a place where they sell children so PLEASE be in prayer for Clayton and his family!



Our New Arrivals!

Here are our new arrivals!!!

Two shelties! :)

These are two females about 2-3 years old that Caleb, Mom, and James got them for breeding puppies! They are really sweet! We have had this type of dog since before I was born. They are GREAT house dogs! They love to please and are wonderful with kids and other animals.

The black one, or Tri, colored one is Caleb's and her name is Maggie. She's very quiet, laid back sort of personality.

The brown one, or Sabel, is Mom and James' and she is more your bubbly, energetic type. :)

Sorry, these pics. aren't very good, we need to get a new camera and they like to move around a lot.

Maelee Saying Bible Verses

We have started to teach Maelee Bible verses! And she is remembering them VERY well!

On James' 12th Birthday....

Well, today is James' 12th Birthday...

and for his Birthday he found out he needed glasses, he started growing facial hair...

 He found out he would only grow to be 3 ft. tall...

AND he got a brand new car, (with extended petals for his short legs) that he can't drive for another 4 years!

Just kidding!  :D

On a serious note James is a VERY charactered young man.  He is hard working, cares for others, is diligent, obedient, content, & respectful.

And he also has a good dose of fun!  ;)

Happy Birthday James!  We love you and are so blessed that the Lord chose you to be in our family!
