On James' 12th Birthday....

Well, today is James' 12th Birthday...
and for his Birthday he found out he needed glasses, he started growing facial hair...

He found out he would only grow to be 3 ft. tall...

AND he got a brand new car, (with extended petals for his short legs) that he can't drive for another 4 years!

Just kidding!  :D
On a serious note James is a VERY charactered young man.  He is hard working, cares for others, is diligent, obedient, content, & respectful.

And he also has a good dose of fun!  ;)

Happy Birthday James!  We love you and are so blessed that the Lord chose you to be in our family!

Happy Valentine's Day!

And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
Genesis 13:14-15
It is difficult to read these glowing words- northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward - without being reminded of "the length, and breadth, and depth, and height, of the love of Christ, that passeth knowledge." Much of the land of Canaan was hidden behind the ramparts of the hills; but enough was seen to ravish that faithful spirit. Similarly, we may not be able to comprehend the love of God in Christ, but the higher we climb the more we behold. The upper cliffs of the separated life command the fullest view of that measureless expanse.
In some parts of Scotland's Western Highlands, the traveler's eye is delighted by the clear and sunlight waters of a loch- an arm of the sea, running far up into the hills. But as he climbs over the heathery slopes, and catches sight of the waters of the Atlantic, bathed in the light of the setting sun, he almost forgets the fair vision which had just arrested him. Thus do growing elevation and separation of character unfold even richer conceptions of Christ's infinite love and character.
God's promises are ever on the ascending scale. One leads up to another, fuller and more blessed than itself. In Mesopotamia God said, "I will show thee the land"; at Bethel, "This is the land"; here, "I will give all the land, and children innumerable as the grains of sand." And we shall find even these eclipsed. It is thus that God allures us to saintliness. Not giving anything til we have dared to act- that He may test us. Not giving everything at first- that He may not overwhelm us. And always keeping in hand an infinite reserve of blessing. Oh, the unexplored remainders of God! Whoever saw His last star?
-F.B. Meyer, Abraham

May you delight in His love today!

This & That, A VERY Overdue Post

Hello all! Yes, the Peck's are still alive! Sorry this post is long overdue!
We had a very LARGE amount of snow for us this week! About 12 in. but that is only in places where there is no drifting! We have a drift outside our door that is about 3-4ft! You can imagine us kids are having a blast in all this! And we are supposed to get more on Sun.! :)
Some of us are ready for spring but white is much prettier to look at than brown.

And praise the Lord our Internet was the only thing down for us.

Doesn't this look like fun?!

This is the orphaned kitten I found and raised this summer, Joy.
She enjoys watching from the warmth of the house. :)

And helping James build his legos! (wink, wink)

And Ben just lays around the house all day...
No, just kidding! He s VERY busy right now with school, Bible memory for our youth program, and the up coming Student Convention at our church! He is in a skit that he is writing with some others and more Bible memory and some musical things too I think so he is more than busy!

And James is.... well, James!

We have also started planning for the Corn Maze for the design and entertainment. So if you could keep us in your prayers for wisdom we would appreciate it!
Stay tuned for "Chicken Pox and a Beard Part 2"!
