But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18

First Snow

Well, last weekend we had our first snow this year!  I can't believe we didn't get any til the middle of January!  This winter has been sooooo weird!  One day it will be in the 50's then the next below freezing!  But we did enjoy the snow, we got about 2-3 in., and even got to go sledding one afternoon!
I don't think our other animals really found the snow that thrilling but this was our summer kittens first time to see snow.  Emily seems to be enjoying it...

The other animals where busy trying not to think about it.  ;)

Here's Adalaide, our milk cow.  (Not too fun milking in this cold.)

And here's our two steers.  The brown one is Ronald and the black one is... Guess...

Ben got some pics. at night too and I thought this one looked kinda cool.

And on Sat. we took care of some friends while their parents went out to dinner so I had a tea party for the girls.  What a blessing Christian friends are.

God bless!  Hope ya'll have a great day!  :)

We are leaving with the Mc. family tonight at 6 and there is snow in the forecast so please be praying for our safety and for alertness during the 15 hour drive. Thanks! Praying each of you has a very blessed and warm week! ;)

Happy Thanksgiving!

"For the beauty of the earth,

For the glory of the skies,

For the love which from our birth,
Over and around us lies:

For the wonder of each hour,

Of the day and of the night,

Hill and vale, and tree and flow'r,
Sun and moons, and stars of light:

For the joy of human love,
Brother, sister, parent, child,

Friends on earth, and friends above,
For all gentle thoughts and mild:

For Thyself, best Gift Divine!
To our race so freely giv'n,
For that great, great love of Thine,
Peace on earth, and joy in heav'n:
Lord of all, to Thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise."

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
May the Lord bless you!

Mennonite Madness

What is this madness?!!!!

Look below for how to play! ;)

Mennonite Madness

Mennonite Madness... our friends in MN taught us this game last year and it has been a real favorite ever since!
Ok, here's how you play... You have two dice, one pen, and everyone has a sheet of paper.

You start with the pen in the middle of the table and any one person rolling the die. Then it's the next persons turn going clockwise around the circle. When someone gets doubles, like two ones, two threes, etc..., then that person that rolled the doubles grabs the pen and starts writing on their sheet of paper one to one hundred. They keep writing while everyone else is taking their turn rolling until someone else gets doubles then that person grabs the pen from the first person and starts writing to 100, and the game goes on. the first one to write to 100 wins! You won't believe how exciting it can be to write to 100!

Oh! When you get doubles the second time you just start right in where you left off writing before, you don't have to start over. Hope you all enjoy! It's a great group game!

Whirly-Thing

This was one of the out of the ordinary things they had at the park mentioned below. It was a TON of fun! I wish we had one in our backyard!!

Museum Pics.

Well, here are the rest of the pics. from the Children's Museum we went to last week! As you can see it was a really fun place with stuff to do for everyone!
They had a place you could make HUGE bubbles!

Then another place where you could make water ways.

They had a lot of dress up places where you could pretend to work as a mechanic, doctor, and news reporter!

This was a thing you could climb up to the ceiling on! Really fun!

We then stopped at an EXTREMELY fun park that had lots of out of the ordinary things to play on!

If you live in the area I really suggest you visit there! It's a lot of fun.
