But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18

SMITE & Cows...

Hello all!  Well, we made it back from S.M.I.T.E camp safe and sound!
It was a fun and profitable week!  The Lord really worked!
There were 447 kids that received Christ as there Saviour this week and almost 2,000 that heard the salvation message!  Praise the Lord!

Caleb graduated from S.M.I.T.E this year which was exciting.  And James went for the first time and loved it!  Jordan taught a short class which she enjoyed and Ben passed the hardest level with flying colors!

OH!!!!
We all LOVED all the suggestions for the cows!  They were so fun!  Thank you!
We ended up naming the mama cow Adalaide , which means 'Noble, kind'.
And the baby; Guess.  That way when a certain 'event' happens and someone asks, "What's for dinner?" we can say, "Guess!"  ;D

Caleb's Coming!

This is a movie of Caleb's train passing our house! Since we live right next to the railroad tracks it was REALLY fun to have a train go by that you actually new someone on it!

(Did you see him? ;)

He had a VERY exciting trip! He had a lay over right at the start and left at about 7 in the morning as opposed to midnight the night before. So he played cribbage all night with a nice older lady in her 70's, which he travelled with as far as Chicago. Then when he arrived there he had another layover all night! But not to worry about our poor traveler. Amtrack put him up in the Hyatt Regency hotel on the 22nd floor with an awesome view of Michigan Ave. and 2 queen beds! They also gave him money for his meals so he had Chinese for breakfast! (But that's not all!) That day he had some time to spend so he went to The Field Museum and guess what! It was a free day! Well, to top it all off on his way from Chicago to Bloomington he led a college student to the Lord!!!! It's so neat how our Father works. If Caleb hadn't had all those "delays" he would have missed witnessing this young man. Please pray that Gregory grows in the Lord.

Thank you for all your prayers and your comments! He REALLY enjoyed them!

Caleb & TN

Well, Caleb is officially in TN. Thank you all for your prayers. We had a safe and uncomplicated trip.
For those of you that don't know, Caleb is staying with some friends in TN. Clint B., who is about Calebs age, offered him a job helping him construct metal buildings, roof houses, and whatever else the Lord brings along. So please pray they have a lot of work.

The B.'s have 4 children, Max (22), Clint (19), Erin (16), and Alesha (14). They live on a farm with two BIG gardens and animals.

They also play instruments! So Caleb took his bass down to play along. They play guitar, violin, harmonica, mandolin, and piano.

Ben had a fun time riding their horses. The other animals they have around are cows, chickens, sheep, goats, and dogs.

It was hard to leave Caleb but it was encouraging to know that he is were God wants him and in a good environment. Please continue to keep him in your prayers and us as well as we go through the summer without him. :{
