Well, this was about the fullest our parking lot got this first open weekend. But our freinds in MN said that their first weekend was slow too so that encouraged us. It was a lot of fun though!!!

We barely got everything done! Here is the kids straw maze. The kids seem to REALLY enjoy it!

Here we are hurrying to finish the concession stand. We had SOOOOO many AWSOME friends that have helped us through this whole thing!

Our First Days

Hey all! Thanks for your prayers! We had a slow weekend but that was ok, God knows what He's doing. We had a video production guy out at the maze on Fri. and he created a REALLY neat video while a family went through the maze!

Opening Day!

Well today is opening day for the maze!

We had our church over last night to kinda get us ready for today and things went great!

Please keep us in your prayers though if you think about us!

We still have a lot of last minute things before 4:00 today!

More Corn Maze Stuff...

Well, we've made good progress so far this week!

Here we have most of the animal pens done.

And this morning we finished setting up the rope maze!!!

I think this will be a big attraction. We haven't been able to try it out yet (we are so busy building fun things for others that we don't have time to enjoy them ourselves! :D ) but it looks like a lot of fun!!!!

Ben took this pic. from the top of the concession stand, which is almost completed, and you can see the layout of things. The entrance to the corn maze, the rope maze, then the craft area and water balloon slingshot, after that the little kids hay maze (not done with it yet), and last the animals.

Caleb and Ben in between the outside stuff have been painting signs.

What We've Been Up To....

Sorry I haven't posted lately! The corn maze opens in two weeks and we are swamped so this won't be a wordy post just mainly a quick over view of what we've been up to...

The maze is totally cut and the paths are GREAT! Us kids are having a blst going through.

Here is the concession stand which has been taking up most of our time and energy the last two weeks.

We are almost done and hope to finish this weekend!

We are all getting a good work education.

We have so many AWSOME friends that have given of their time and energy to help us. Thanks guys!

This is our road side signs that arrived yesterday.

We are going to have a sort of petting zoo at the maze so we brought my sheep down from my grandpa's. Sarah and Jenny came over to help me shear them.

We have also purchased some chicks...

and some piglets!

Ok, for pigs, I think they are pretty cute. Their names are Sausage and Floyd.

Earlier this week Caleb, Jenny and I got to go up in an air plane to take the arial photo! It was so fun and the maze looks just like it's supposed to!!!! YEA!!!!

Jenny took the pis. cause she has a nice camera. ;)
