Answer To Prayer

Thank you all for your paryers!!! We had over 100 at the maze on Sat.!!! Praise the Lord! Isn't it so neat to have an avenue to help or encourage someone far away when we are knealing on our own home! What an awsome thing it is to have a God who is always there, always listening, and always wanting to answer our prayers.
Hope you all have a blessed Sun.!

Yeah! We sure did pray a lot for you all this weekend, and will continue to. We had a good weekend too but sure could use your advice on how to feed a sheep, Jordan. God is so good!

This recipe is so well used that it is starting to fade...from being spilled on so often! : ) It has been the "birthday cake" of choice many times...though it is not "cake like"

Bavarian Apple Torte

Base: 1/2 c. butter, 1/3 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1 c. flour: Cream butter, sugar and vanilla, blend in flour and press in bottom of a 9" spring form pan.

Filling: 8 oz cream cheese, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp vanilla: Combine cheese and sugar, add egg and vanilla, pour over base.

Topping: 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 4 c. apples,(peeled, cored, sliced) 1/4 c. almond slices.

Toss apples with sugar and cinnamon and
spoon over filling, sprinkle with almonds. Bake 10 min @ 425 F, then 25 min @ 400 F. It will be golden and set...cool, remove from pan, and enjoy!
