Bahamas...

Well it has been a LONG time since we have posted.... we apologize!  As some of you know Jordan is going to Combatore, India for a 5 month missions trip to work in an orphanage and she leaves the 17th of this month so consequentially we are very busy here!
But Ben and Jordan (me) just took a week long missions trip to Nassau Bahamas and we thought we would share some pictures from that!
It was an AMAZING trip!  It was Ben and my first missionary trip and it was incredible!  We helped with a sports VBS at the church down there and about 30 kids received Christ that week!   There were 19 of us that came from our church on the trip and we all had a blast.  Not only did we get to work at the VBS in the morning but in the afternoons we got to go sight seeing and go to some beaches which was fun. Hope you enjoy the pics.!

This was the Chicago airport on the way out.

This is our Pastor and his wife.

The water was soooooo beautiful from the plane.

That evening when we arrived in the Bahamas we played some volleyball with the youth from their church.

This is Jaws beach were they filmed part of the Jaws movie.  We found a lot of Star Fish in the ocean.  That was really neat.

We found two of these blue crabs.  They pinched one of the guys pretty hard when they were catching them!  But they were such a pretty color!  This was one of the missionaries sons Aden.

This was the church building.  The guys slept here and showered out back and came to the house for meals.  The girls slept at the missionaries house.

This flower was so pretty and it actually grew on a tree!

The water was BEAUTIFUL there!

We went to the Straw Market twice while there.  It was fun being able to bargain for things!  They had a lot of interesting stuff.  This was a plane made from a soda can!

The tourist section.

More pictures to come....
